The functional forces of Bac Nha Trang ward approached Vinh Phuong area to assist people in moving their belongings.
Heavy rain lasting from the night of December 3 to the morning of December 4 caused many areas in Nha Trang ( Khanh Hoa ) to be flooded again, while water levels on rivers continued to rise and were warned to be likely to reach alert levels 2-3 in the next 24 hours.
At 7:00 a.m. on December 4, Khanh Hoa Hydrometeorological Station recorded the water level of Cai River at Dong Trang station at 8.15 m, exceeding alarm level 1 by about 0.15 m. The rapid flow of water from upstream after many hours of heavy rain caused the risk of widespread flooding downstream.
In riverside wards such as Vinh Trung, Vinh Phuong, Vinh Ngoc, and the North Nha Trang and West Nha Trang areas (Vo Cang, Vo Canh), water flooded into people's houses, in some places from 0.3 to 0.5 meters.

A section of road into Vo Canh village was blocked due to deep flooding.
Many households had to stay up all night to pack up their belongings and move their furniture to higher ground to avoid damage. Mr. Tran Van Cuong, a resident of Bac Nha Trang Ward, said his family had to get up at 5 a.m. to raise their furniture because the water suddenly rose above the edge of the yard in less than an hour.
Some residential areas in Suoi Dau, Suoi Hiep and the communes of Dien Dien, Dien Tho, Dien Lac, and Dien Khanh were also partially flooded when the river water rose rapidly.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Anh Minh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Nha Trang Ward, said that the locality is making a plan to evacuate people and vehicles from the deep flooded area.
Some schools have closed classes to ensure safety. Local emergency forces have been deployed to residential areas at risk of flooding to assist with evacuation if necessary.
According to forecasts, rain is still forecast to occur on December 4, combined with water from upstream continuing to flow, which can cause flooding on the Cai Nha Trang River to rise rapidly. People are advised to limit movement through flooded areas, proactively respond and follow the instructions of the authorities to avoid risks when the flood situation is still complicated.
Not only Khanh Hoa, heavy rains have significantly affected Lam Dong . In some areas in Bac Binh, Ham Thuan Bac and Ham Thuan Nam, prolonged rains have caused flooding of rural roads in some low-lying areas.
Meanwhile, water from Bang Lang stream rose, flooding residential areas on both sides, then overflowed National Highway 1 by nearly 1 meter.
