Overturned truck blocks Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway

The truck was traveling on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway when it crashed into the median strip, flipped over, and lay blocking one direction of the road.

At around 3:00 p.m. on October 20, a refrigerated truck with an An Giang license plate traveling on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway (Km187, through Song Luy commune, Lam Dong province) suddenly crashed into a hard median and overturned.

According to the records, the accident caused the truck to overturn, blocking one side of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway (South - North). At the scene, the truck's body was broken, the goods inside were scattered on the road. After the incident, all vehicles traveling from Phan Thiet to Khanh Hoa could not move, the traffic was jammed in a long line. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Immediately after receiving the news, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6, Department 6, Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) was present to handle the scene, organize traffic flow and regulate traffic. A rescue crane was then mobilized to lift the damaged vehicle. By about 4:00 p.m. the same day, traffic on the route was clear.

Goods on the crashed truck were scattered on the road.

The cause of the accident is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
