The highlight of the opening night was the artistic program, a collaborative performance by Ho Chi Minh City, elaborately staged, combining tradition and modernity, recreating the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, and honoring the unique cultural values ​​of Nghe An province.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Thai Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, emphasized that over the past 45 years (since 1981), from "Singing from Lang Sen Village" to "Lang Sen Village Singing Festival," which was elevated to the "Lang Sen Village Festival" in 2002, it has been held annually at the provincial level and every five years on a national scale. This festival has profound political significance, an important event celebrating the anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth; it expresses the deep respect and gratitude of all strata of the people and the nation for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the national liberation hero, the outstanding cultural figure, a shining symbol in the golden pages of Vietnamese history and culture, of the history of the Vietnamese nation, and of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Kim Lien Historical Site was honored to receive the First-Class Labor Medal and the Decision recognizing Kim Lien as a National Tourist Area from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This is considered an important milestone in the journey of promoting cultural and historical values ​​and developing tourism in President Ho Chi Minh's homeland.
