Nghe An: Highlights on December 27

* On the morning of December 27, in Linh Son commune, Anh Son district ( Nghe An ), the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province and Nghe An province held a ceremony to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth of comrade Phan Thai At (January 1, 1894 - January 1, 2024) - former member of the Central Region Party Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee in 1931.

* On the morning of December 27, in Hanoi, the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union for the 2023-2028 term held its closing session. 111 outstanding comrades representing more than 10 million farmer members were elected to the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union for the 8th term. Comrade Nguyen Quang Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Union was elected to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union for the 2023-2028 term with an absolute number of votes.
