Satisfactory answers to many questions

At the press conference, a number of issues of interest to the press were satisfactorily answered, such as ensuring security and safety in tourism; social behavior after the recent serious shipwreck in Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh).

The viewpoint of the Department and the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is very clear, artists are citizens, first of all must comply with the provisions of the law. If an artist violates the law, he must be strictly handled according to the regulations, setting an example for the public. The more famous the artist is, the more strictly this must be implemented, there are no "forbidden areas, exceptions".

The recent occurrence of tourist scams; advertisements that exaggerate the truth, and violations of the law on advertising by celebrities on the internet... were also raised by journalists with representatives of specialized agencies under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In addition, journalists are concerned about the ethics of artists and the implementation of the Code of Conduct for people working in the arts with the example of the case of fashion designer Nguyen Cong Tri being arrested for drug-related crimes...

Chief of Office, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cao Le Tuan Anh said: “The incident of the tourist boat capsized in Quang Ninh on July 19 caused great pain to the community and society. The Prime Minister has directed that localities and relevant units have also focused on rescue, relief, and overcoming the consequences, hoping to find the missing victims; warn people and tourists about ensuring security and safety during their travel... This is a rare and unavoidable natural disaster, but it should not cause panic among people or affect the overall development of the tourism industry.”

Regarding the question of artists' ethics, Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts Tran Huong Duong said: "The viewpoint of the Department and the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is very clear, artists are citizens, first of all they must comply with the provisions of the law. If an artist violates the law, they must be strictly handled according to the regulations, setting an example for the public. The more famous the artist is, the more strictly this must be implemented, there are no forbidden areas, no exceptions."

Regarding the issue of fraud on social networks and celebrities participating in advertising to exaggerate the truth on social networks, Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information Le Quang Tu Do shared: "Recently, the tricks of fraudsters on cyberspace have become increasingly sophisticated and organized. The police have dismantled many transnational criminal rings that defrauded Vietnamese people. The Department has also coordinated with the police force to remove over 30,000 fraudulent social network accounts, but the fraud situation has not been completely resolved."
