After nearly 10 years of implementing Resolution 35 dated July 21, 2016 of the Provincial People's Council on regulations on policies to encourage and support tourism development, up to now, nearly 300 organizations and individuals have benefited and proactively seized opportunities, boldly invested in building, renovating houses and purchasing equipment to serve tourists, creating momentum for the province's tourism sector to become a spearhead economic sector.

In Ha Giang City, the ASEAN Standard Homestay Cluster Award was presented by the World Tourism Organization to Tha village, Phuong Do commune at the end of 2024, marking a breakthrough in the development of the community tourism model, while also recognizing the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people in implementing the province's programs and resolutions on promoting traditional cultural values to serve tourists.

The ASEAN Standard Homestay Cluster Award was given to Tha village, Phuong Do commune by the World Tourism Organization at the end of 2024.

According to statistics from the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the amount of money disbursed to implement Resolution 35 on a number of policies to support tourism development is over 24 billion VND for 285 organizations and individuals. There are 6 areas that benefit from the policy, including: Site clearance; investment in the construction of accommodation facilities and resorts; investment in the construction of restaurants that meet tourism standards; solid waste treatment and construction of public toilets; community tourism development; investment in cave exploitation.

The amount of money disbursed to implement Resolution 35 on a number of policies to support tourism development is over 24 billion VND for 285 organizations and individuals.

Through inspection and supervision of the implementation of Resolution 35, after receiving support, organizations and individuals have used the funds for the right purposes; many organizations and cooperatives have expanded production and trading activities of traditional handicraft products; accommodation establishments and homestays have repaired houses, renovated landscapes, purchased equipment, and upgraded community cultural tourism villages to become typical cultural tourism villages and achieved OCOP stars./.
