Recently, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) held a State-level acceptance conference for the project "Research on completing the design, manufacturing technology and application of hydraulic winch systems to open and close valve gates of hydroelectric and irrigation works", code DAĐL.CN04/22.

This is a project under the Independent Science and Technology Program, period 2021-2025, chaired by Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of INTEC Industrial Technology Joint Stock Company; Prof. Dr. Le Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanoi University of Science and Technology is Chairman of the Acceptance Council.

Reporting at the Conference, the Project Management Board said that the project has completed all registered targets with many items exceeding the target. Notably, 01 hydraulic winch production line with a capacity of 50 systems/year; 12 hydraulic winch systems with lifting force Q = (20-40) tons, exceeding 02 systems, supplied for the Nam Rom Dam project, Dien Bien province; 10 hydraulic winch systems with lifting force Q = (60-75) tons, exceeding 01 system, supplied for the Nam Long Hydropower project, Dak Nong province; 06 hydraulic winch systems with lifting force Q = (90-110) tons, exceeding 01 system, supplied for the Cao Bang Dam project, Cao Bang province. In addition, the research team has developed 03 sets of documents on design, manufacturing technology process, assembly process, operation, testing; Published 03 articles in specialized journals (exceeded 01 article); registered intellectual property for industrial designs and models whose application was accepted by the Intellectual Property Office.

In particular, during the implementation process, the Host Agency has supplied 28/25 hydraulic winch systems to the market (exceeding 03 systems), with revenue reaching 26,405 million VND, many times higher than the initial State investment (6.6 billion VND). The localization rate reached 80%, not only helping to reduce costs but also creating more jobs for workers, contributing to improving the autonomy of the domestic mechanical industry.

In addition, after the project is completed, the host agency is negotiating with investors of many projects such as Phu Tan 1 Hydropower Project, Dakrinh 2 Hydropower Project, Nam Muc 2 Hydropower Project... to supply about 60 winch systems with diverse types Q = 40 - 110 tons, with expected revenue of nearly 50 billion VND in the next phase.

Dr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Project Secretary, on behalf of the Project Management Board, reported the results at the Conference.

In his concluding remarks, Prof. Dr. Le Anh Tuan emphasized: "This is a serious and elaborate scientific work that has created a high-quality mechanical product that is capable of replacing imported goods; thereby, affirming the capacity of the Vietnamese mechanical industry in the market." The acceptance council unanimously evaluated the project as "Passed", and at the same time requested the research team to continue to improve the product, improve its applicability and boldly implement new projects of higher quality and larger scale.

Before acceptance, on September 13, 2025, the expert team led by Prof. Dr. Le Anh Tuan inspected the actual hydraulic winch system with lifting force Q = 110 tons at Cao Bang Dam, Cao Bang province - a typical project of the project. The appraisal results showed that the equipment operated stably, with modern industrial design, meeting strict technical requirements, and at the same time contributing to creating a landscape highlight for the urban area of ​​Cao Bang province.
