Mr. Le Nguyen Truong Giang, Director of Digital Transformation Strategy Institute (DTSI) - Vietnam Digital Communications Association.
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Le Nguyen Truong Giang, Director of the Digital Transformation Strategy Institute (DTSI) - Vietnam Digital Communications Association, said that state-owned enterprises are facing many challenges in the digital transformation process.
First of all, there is the challenge from the legal corridor. Because state-owned enterprises have very strict regulations, rules and control methods, these are factors that create barriers that make the digital transformation process subject to many constraints, not easy to succeed.
The shift in operations during digital transformation also generates large investments, but the investment decision-making process in the state-owned enterprise sector is very slow and multi-level, making it difficult to build digital initiatives according to a fast-growing model or build new investment ecosystems for testing.
Digital transformation requires a holistic view, a holistic approach, and is only successful and effective with a total impact of all transformation elements working together. However, this is a major obstacle in the decision-making mechanism at state-owned enterprises...
To address the above challenges, the Institute of Digital Transformation Strategy has built and developed a platform strategy through building a foundational data architecture for digital transformation of enterprises.
Mr. Le Nguyen Truong Giang emphasized that there is no specific digital transformation model or method suitable for all businesses and organizations. Digital transformation is a revolution in thinking, requiring businesses to proactively innovate and create based on the frameworks of rules and principles of the digital transformation process to shape strategies and models suitable to the characteristics of the business.
