(GLO)- On the morning of May 30, the prices of domestic gold bars and gold rings both fell sharply compared to the previous session despite the upward trend of world gold prices. In particular, gold bars in both buying and selling directions decreased by 700,000 VND/tael.

According to records at businesses, the listed gold bar prices this morning both decreased in buying and selling directions.

Specifically: at SJC Ho Chi Minh City, the listed buying price is 115.5 million VND/tael, the listed selling price is 118 million VND/tael, down about 700,000 VND/tael in both directions compared to yesterday.

At DOJI Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, gold bars are listed for buying at 115.5 million VND/tael and selling at 118 million VND/tael. PNJ Ho Chi Minh City buys at 110.3 million VND/tael and sells at 113.4 million VND/tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau buys at 115.5 million VND/tael, sells at 118 million VND/tael.

Mi Hong bought at 111 million VND/tael, sold at 113.5 million VND/tael, down 500,000 VND/tael in both directions compared to yesterday.

The price of 9999 gold rings and 24K, 18K, 14K, 10K gold jewelry also recorded a decrease from 500,000 to 1.5 million VND/tael, depending on the product type and each business system.

DOJI in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City markets listed the price of gold rings at 111 million VND/tael for buying and 113.3 million VND/tael for selling, down 500,000 VND for buying and 700,000 VND for selling.

Phu Quy SJC is buying gold rings at 110.8 million VND/tael and selling at 113.8 million VND/tael, down 700,000 VND in both directions compared to early this morning.

PNJ brand gold ring price decreased by 1 million VND in both directions, down to 110.3 million VND/tael for buying and 113.4 million VND/tael for selling, respectively.

Domestic gold prices have fallen sharply amid rising world gold prices, leading to the gap between domestic and world gold prices continuing to remain high, around VND12-13 million/tael.
