Nam Tu Liem residents highly agree on rearranging 4 grassroots administrative units

Accordingly, Nam Tu Liem district has collected opinions from 70,530 voters representing households, reaching 99.07% of the total number of permanent households in the area. Of which, the percentage of people agreeing to the arrangement of 4 administrative units is nearly 94%.

In general, people's opinions are in high agreement with the arrangement plan and names of the 4 new wards: Tu Liem, Xuan Phuong, Tay Mo and Dai Mo.

Previously, based on the instructions of the competent authority, the People's Committees of 10 wards in the district established 133 groups to collect public opinions with over 2,200 members participating to collect public opinions on the arrangement of the current 10 wards into 4 basic administrative units. Specifically as follows:

Tu Liem administrative unit: Natural area ^10.09km2 ; population 78,802 people. Administrative boundaries: The entire area and population of Cau Dien ward (Nam Tu Liem); most of the natural area and population of the wards: My Dinh 1, My Dinh 2, Phu Do, Me Tri (Nam Tu Liem); part of the natural area and population of Mai Dich ward (Cau Giay).

Basic administrative unit Xuan Phuong: Natural area ^10.85km2 ; population 108,984 people. Administrative boundaries: The entire area and population of the wards: Phuong Canh, Xuan Phuong (Nam Tu Liem); most of the natural area and population of Tay Mo ward (Nam Tu Liem); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Dai Mo (Nam Tu Liem); Minh Khai, Phuc Dien (Bac Tu Liem); Van Canh commune (Hoai Duc).

Tay Mo basic administrative unit: Natural area ^5.95km2 ; population 46,469 people. Administrative boundaries: Most of the natural area and population of Tay Mo ward (Nam Tu Liem); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Dai Mo, Phu Do (Nam Tu Liem); Duong Noi (Ha Dong) and An Khanh commune (Hoai Duc).

Dai Mo basic administrative unit: Natural area ^7.65km2 ; population 59,980 people. Administrative boundaries: Most of the natural area and population of the wards: Dai Mo, Trung Van (Nam Tu Liem); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Phu Do, Me Tri (Nam Tu Liem); Mo Lao, Duong Noi (Ha Dong); Trung Hoa (Cau Giay); Nhan Chinh (Thanh Xuan).

According to the plan, Nam Tu Liem district will continue to complete related documents and organize a meeting of the district People's Council on April 23, 2025 to issue a resolution approving the policy of implementing the plan to rearrange administrative units; then complete the documents according to regulations and send them to the City People's Committee on April 24, 2025.
