At Nguyen Hue walking street (Saigon ward), city residents lined up from early morning to wait their turn to get devices from distributor TopZone (The Gioi Di Dong).
Ms. Thu Tram, resident of Tan Hung ward, said she ordered an iPhone on September 12. Today, she came to receive the iPhone 17 Pro Max 512 GB for 44.99 million VND.
“I am very happy to be one of the first customers in Ho Chi Minh City to receive the iPhone 17 Pro Max in a unique orange color,” said Ms. Tram.

Responding to VTC News Electronic Newspaper reporter, Mr. Doan Van Hieu Em, General Director of Mobile World and TopZone shared that this year, TopZone had nearly 100,000 customers depositing in just the first 24 hours, far surpassing last year's iPhone 16 sales record.
It is expected that on the morning of September 19, TopZone will deliver the latest generation of iPhone to the first 600 customers.
“Vietnamese consumers welcomed the iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air more enthusiastically than in previous years. Among them, the iPhone Pro Max with the space orange version created a fever in this year's iPhone season,” said Mr. Doan Van Hieu Em.

At the Minh Tuan Mobile store on Tran Quang Khai Street, people also came very early to wait to receive their phones. However, this system only started delivering phones at 8am.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, CEO of Minh Tuan Mobile system, said that as of September 18, the system received 18,000 orders for iPhone 17 series and iPhone 17 Air, 12% higher than orders for iPhone 16 series last year.
“It is expected that on the morning of September 19, we will deliver 300 iPhones to the first customers. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is still the center of attention, accounting for a large proportion of orders. Of which, the 256GB version and the cosmic orange color attract the most customers,” said Mr. Tuan.

At the Mobile World store on Dong Khoi Street, customers also arrived very early to wait for the iPhone 17 series and iPhone 17 Air. The store's staff was mobilized to serve customers.
A representative of the Mobile World system said that the system has received nearly 27,000 registrations to buy iPhones. Of which, 65% of customers chose the iPhone 17 Pro Max. If counting the iPhone 17 Pro Max alone, the 256 GB version was chosen the most and 60% of customers chose the cosmic orange color.
In addition, 20% of customers chose iPhone 17 Pro, 11% chose iPhone 17 and 4% of customers chose iPhone Air. In these versions, besides cosmic orange, lavender purple and cloud white are quite "hot" colors.
