Over 140 million VND given to the people of Yen Phu commune

On the morning of September 21, at Yen Phu commune, Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television and benefactors came to give support money to the people of Yen Phu commune.

Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television presented support money to the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Phu commune.

On September 15, 2025, the column "Human Bridge" of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television published the information "People of Yen Phu commune long for a stable life". Up to now, people have received support from agencies, departments, branches, and philanthropists inside and outside the province with an amount of over 140 million VND.

Accordingly, through the column "Humanitarian Bridge" of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television and the personal Facebook of reporter Minh Thuy, the amount of 14.5 million VND and 20 kg of rice was called for support. Vien Chau Tunnel Brick Joint Stock Company, An Tuong Ward supported 1 million VND; Yen Phu Commune Fatherland Front Committee mobilized 36 organizations and individuals to support over 122 million VND. Previously, the Provincial Red Cross Society donated 50 gifts; the Provincial Women's Union supported 20 gifts including cash and 10 kg of rice.

Currently, people in Yen Phu commune are overcoming the consequences of flash floods, cleaning up and renovating their houses, restoring production... As for 13 households in Ngoa village, the People's Committee of Yen Phu commune has assigned forces to be on duty, ready to respond to situations; strictly prohibiting households from returning to the area when the weather turns bad; arranging for households to take shelter at the cultural house to ensure the safety of people and property.
