Male MC brings tears to judges' eyes with performance 'Lan and Diep'

In the latest episode of the program Bolero Love 2025, MC Quoc Tri continued to bring a transformation when choosing the song Lan va Diep 4 by musician Hamlet Truong.

After the competition night, the performance quickly received much attention from the audience. Not only impressing with his sweet voice, the handsome MC also showed his acting ability, bringing many emotions to the audience.

In the performance, Quoc Tri had a good combination with Thien Huong, bringing an emotional excerpt. Notably, at the end of the performance, the moment when the character Diep played by Quoc Tri monologued to himself after making mistakes for his lover moved both the audience and the judges.

On stage, Quoc Tri could not hold back his tears after finishing his performance. He shared: “Normally I am a host - a job that requires me to control my emotions quite well. But when I became a contestant of Tinh Bolero, I still could not escape the character Diep in the story. I have never felt like I lived in the character as completely as with this performance.”

As the author of the song, Hamlet Truong was surprised by the story that Quoc Tri used in his song. The male judge praised the male contestant for his creative introduction.

Meanwhile, famous singer Phuong Dung expressed her emotions and gave compliments to this performance. She even hoped that Quoc Tri would have more impressive collaborations, not only in Tinh Bolero .

Watching the performance, director Vu Thanh Vinh said he was impressed with the final moment, when Quoc Tri monologued on stage. The male judge highly appreciated his junior's transformation, helping to convey emotions to the audience.

Judge Ha Thu was impressed with the idea that Quoc Tri created for the performance. The male MC's performance made the female judge feel "touched" and touched.

“You put your heart into this song. Honestly, it is not easy to recreate Lan and Diep, but seeing how you put your heart into the song really impressed me,” the female artist said.

“When I came to this playground, I determined that this was an opportunity to overcome my own limits and experience new things. Overcoming myself, I think that was a great success when competing in the contest," he said.

Nguyen Quoc Tri was born in 1995, from Dong Thap . He is 1m80 tall, weighs 70kg, and graduated from Ho Chi Minh City Open University. After winning the runner-up of Face of Television 2022, he stopped working as a chief flight attendant at an airline. Quoc Tri works in the arts as an MC and model.

In 2023, Quoc Tri won the 3rd runner-up prize at the Mister Tourism World contest. This is also the highest achievement of Vietnamese representatives participating in this contest.
