Vu Quang people celebrate national unity day

The National Unity Day is an opportunity for people in Hop Binh village, Huong Minh commune (Vu Quang, Ha Tinh) to promote solidarity, help each other develop the economy , and build cultural life.

On the morning of November 9, Hop Binh village, Huong Minh commune organized a National Great Unity Day. Representatives of the provincial Veterans Association and Vu Quang district leaders attended.

Hop Binh is a village located 2 km from the commune center, with many advantages in socio-economic development. The village's infrastructure has been invested in and upgraded, political security is stable, people's lives are increasingly improved, and cultural and artistic movements, physical training and sports are promoted.

The whole village has 120 households and 384 people. With the support of the Party Committee, the government, mass organizations at all levels, and the consensus of the cadres and people, over the years, the village has excellently completed all assigned tasks and achieved outstanding results.

Leaders of Vu Quang district give gifts to families in difficult circumstances.

Since the beginning of the year, Hop Binh village has mobilized people and children living far from home, and local businesses to build 2 km of solar power lines, upgrade and purchase facilities for the village cultural house such as speakers, televisions, water filters, and cameras... with a total cost of over 300 million VND.

Up to now, the whole village has 45 economic models with annual income from 50 - 500 million VND, average income per capita reaches over 55 million VND/person/year, 95% of households in the village have achieved the title of cultural family.

Cultural, artistic and sports movements are actively organized in residential areas; political security and social order and safety are maintained; social evils are pushed back; the village has built 50 clean and beautiful house and garden models, 15 model gardens, and 1 bright - green - clean - safe - civilized residential area.

Representatives of the provincial Veterans Association and Vu Quang district leaders awarded certificates of merit to Hop Binh residential area for its outstanding achievements in implementing the National Great Unity Day in the period 2003 - 2023.

The material and spiritual life of villagers is improved, traditional cultural values and customs are preserved and promoted.

This is one of the leading villages in the new rural construction movement of Huong Minh commune.

Also at the festival, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vu Quang district held the launching ceremony of the Community Cultural House in Hop Binh village.
