Heavy rains lasting for many days caused the Hoai River to rise, flooding many walking streets in Hoi An ancient town such as Bach Dang, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Le Loi, Hoang Van Thu... However, when the floodwaters gradually receded, mud was exposed, sticking thickly on the streets and shops in the ancient town. With the motto "where the water recedes, clean up there", Hoi An people joined hands with environmental sanitation workers to urgently clean up in time to welcome visitors.
