Major Vu Thang Loi perseveres with revolutionary music
The homeland of the singing soldier Vu Thang Loi will have the appearance of 3 female guest singers Anh Tho, Bui Le Man and Nguyen Ha. Vu Thang Loi personally selected the songs and edited the music for the program. He wanted the more than 20 works that resounded in the art hall to all carry the sound of his homeland that has been with him for many years, attached to the memories of many generations.
"I want when we hear those songs, we will remember our beloved homeland, our parents, relatives, and neighbors," said Vu Thang Loi.
In particular, in the program, Vu Thang Loi also dedicated all his songs to convey his thoughts and feelings to his parents and relatives. Among them, there was a glimpse of his feelings for his wife - although not an artist, she always supported and urged her "husband" to create quality and valuable musical products for the public.
Vu Thang Loi will share his feelings with the home front in the live show.
With Homeland , the audience will have Vu Thang Loi share the lingering moments of parting with the song "Huong Tham" and accompany him on his march to battle, sometimes on the Truong Son mountain range, sometimes in the vast, windy Central Highlands. Music director Hong Kien and director Cao Trung Hieu also made efforts to recreate the natural and cultural spaces across the length of the country in the program.
Singer Vu Thang Loi was born in 1985, currently a major working at the Military Region 2 Art Troupe. Vu Thang Loi graduated from the Military University of Culture and Arts, and has a master's degree in Performance from the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
