Awarding 4-star OCOP product certificates to 21 products

BTO-On the afternoon of June 25, the Department of Agriculture and Environment held a ceremony to announce and award the 4-star OCOP product certificate at the provincial level in 2025.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Huu Phuoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council, along with representatives of departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and OCOP entities.

Awarding 4-star OCOP Certificates to entities

The Department of Agricultural Product Quality and Rural Development (DARD) of the province said: After synthesizing product profiles sent by the People's Committees of the districts to the Provincial OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council, the Department of Agriculture and Environment (Standing Agency of the OCOP Program) organized the evaluation and classification of OCOP products in 2025. From June 10 to June 11, 2025, the Provincial OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council evaluated and classified 21 products, including: 11 new products and 10 re-evaluated products.

The results showed that all 21 products met the 4-star OCOP standards and were eligible to be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval and issuance of a Certificate. In particular, 2 products with an average score of over 90 points, the potential threshold for reaching 5-star OCOP, are seaweed of Hai Nam Okinawa Co., Ltd. (Phan Thiet City) and TAFA fresh chicken eggs of TAFA Viet Livestock Co., Ltd. (Tra Tan Commune, Duc Linh District). After being recognized as reaching 4 stars, the dossiers and product samples of these 2 potential products will be sent by the Department of Agriculture and Environment to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration, evaluation and recognition of national OCOP.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded the 4-star OCOP Certificate to representatives of entities whose products were recognized in 2025.
