Performing at Vietnam Fashion International Week 2025 in the collection of designers Ivan Tran and Cao Xuan Tien, 15-year-old model Bao Chau brings youthful energy and international style.

Sharing the secret to shaping her "high fashion" style, Chau said she always stays confident and gives her all on every catwalk.

“Only when I am confident can I be myself,” she said. That is what makes Tran Bao Chau different: sharp, decisive and unmistakable, something very rare in a teenage model.

Before returning to the domestic catwalk, Bao Chau had an impressive journey abroad. She was a KOL (influencer) at China - Russia Fashion Week Spring - Summer 2025 and held the vedette (star) position at Top Model Look International 2023.

Through international fashion stages, Bao Chau not only learned performance skills but also the professional working style of foreign models, which she brought back to apply immediately on the Vietnamese catwalk.

For this young girl, Vietnam International Fashion Week is not only a fashion event, it is also a place to nurture national pride.
“As a Vietnamese, I am very proud to be able to perform at Vietnam International Fashion Week, wearing designs by Vietnamese designers so that international friends can see how "awesome" Vietnamese people are,” Chau confided.

Tran Bao Chau’s maturity is not only reflected in her skills but also in her perception of the role of the young generation of models. According to Chau, GenZ models are becoming a strong source of inspiration for designers and contributing to creating modern fashion trends. “Young models will be the ones to re-inspire designers and together with them will create new, modern trends,” she affirmed.

In response to opinions that child models often face style limitations in the world of "high fashion", Bao Chau frankly agrees: "Child models will be limited in style because of their age. But when they reach their teens, I think there will be more paths and fashion playgrounds open to me."

Off the catwalk, Chau revealed that her everyday style is quite comfortable, cheerful and somewhat "childish", completely opposite to her cold image on stage. "In real life, I also like a more comfortable style and smile a lot. I often play around and joke around with my friends," she shared.

With a strong passion for fashion, Bao Chau is aiming to become a professional model. She hopes to grow taller to meet international competition standards, and at the same time cherishes the dream of participating in major fashion shows such as The Face or Vietnam's Next Top Model in the near future.

Despite her busy work schedule, Chau is still very serious about her studies. “I often study in my free time so that my studies don’t pile up. I arrange my performance schedule on the weekends so that it doesn’t affect my studies. I am passionate about performing but I always want my teachers not to have to remind me,” she said.

Not only is she a prominent face at Vietnam Fashion Week, Tran Bao Chau also won the IKids Vietnam 2022 Champion title and is a familiar model for a number of designers. These achievements are proof of the seriousness and constant efforts of this little girl on her journey to conquer the fashion world.

At the age of 15, Tran Bao Chau is no longer a “potential child model”. She is a true role model for the new generation of GenZ models, confident, independent, not afraid to break out and gradually bringing international style closer to Vietnamese fashion.
