On May 24, Than Ha Trading and Construction Company Limited held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of social housing in the Kim Hoa urban housing project (Kim Hoa commune, Me Linh district).
Overview of Kim Hoa urban area project
Kim Hoa social housing project is built on an area of over 93,000 m2 , of which the land for building social housing is about 34,000 m2 . The project is built on 4 plots of land, including 9 buildings, with a scale of 720 apartments with an area of 62 - 69 m2 / apartment.
According to Mr. Cao Tien Thang, Director of Than Ha Trading and Construction Company Limited, the project is planned and designed in a modern and synchronous manner with full technical infrastructure, public services, park systems, trees, etc.
The project also connects with National Highway 2, Ring Road 4, and at the same time solves the housing needs of low-income people working in industrial parks: Kim Hoa, Phuc Thang, Quang Minh and industrial parks, low-income people in Hanoi . The project is expected to hand over apartments in the fourth quarter of 2024.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Dong, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, said that the groundbreaking of the social housing project complex is of great significance, opening up opportunities for nearly 18,000 workers who are having to rent houses to work at Quang Minh Industrial Park and many low-income workers who do not have housing in Me Linh District.
"This is a practical action, concretizing the policy of the Government and Hanoi, contributing to solving the housing needs of people living and working in Me Linh district in particular and the capital in general, while contributing to the socio -economic development of Me Linh district," said Mr. Dong.
