TPO - The activity of exchanging old batteries for green trees, taking place at Buon Ma Thuot coffee and book street, attracted many young people. At the program, the model of "Old battery collection station - exchanging batteries for books, succulents" and the experience of making seed bombs was launched.

At the program, the organizers launched the model of “Old battery collection station – exchanging batteries for books and succulents”. Many students and youth union members brought old batteries to exchange. |
Students were guided by the youth union members to recreate the products they used, such as plastic cups, to make pots for succulents. |
Dinh Truc Quynh (grade 8) said: “I was introduced to a creative model of an old battery collection station and experienced the activity of exchanging old batteries for books and succulents. This model helps form the habit of not littering hazardous waste into the environment, raising awareness in the community.” |
At the program, youth union members directly experienced making seed bombs and spreading them in primary forests in localities near the city. |
According to Ms. H. Huong Bkrong - Secretary of the Buon Ma Thuot City Youth Union, the program promotes the role of young people in participating in environmental protection. In which, activities such as making seed bombs and old battery collection station models are piloted at the book street. |
