VOV.VN - Farmers in Dak Lak - the country's largest durian growing region - are worried about the rain that has been falling for three weeks, causing young fruit to fall. In addition, purchasing power at durian markets in China has been sluggish, causing the price of the "king fruit" to drop significantly. Young fallen durian in Dak Lak is only sold for between 1,000 and 3,000 VND/kg. Grade 1 genuine durian is priced at over 80,000 VND/kg, down nearly 15,000 VND/kg compared to the beginning of the season.
