VOV.VN - Farmers in Dak Lak - the country's largest durian growing region - are worried because of three weeks of rain, causing young fruit to fall. In addition, purchasing power at durian markets in China has been sluggish, causing the price of the "king of fruits" to drop significantly. Young fallen durian in Dak Lak is only sold for 1,000 to 3,000 VND/kg. Grade 1 genuine durian costs over 80,000 VND/kg, down nearly 15,000 VND/kg compared to the beginning of the season.
