Dak Lak: Orientation for sustainable real estate market development, associated with master planning

In the context of the real estate market still facing many difficulties, Dak Lak has determined the goal of transparent and stable development, closely linked to the master plan and socio-economic strategy until 2030, with a vision to 2050. This spirit was emphasized at the 2nd Congress of the Dak Lak Real Estate Association, term 2025 - 2029.

Attending and giving a speech at the Congress, Standing Vice Chairwoman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Ho Thi Nguyen Thao assessed that Dak Lak real estate market still faces many difficulties: unsynchronized planning, slow implementation of many projects, complicated legal procedures, and limited competitiveness of enterprises. However, the Prime Minister has assigned the province an important task: by 2030, it must complete 38,400 social housing units.

Currently, the whole province has only put into use 393 units; by the end of 2025, it is expected that there will be 2,255 more units, the majority of which will be more than 36,600 units deployed in the 2025-2030 period. "This is both a big challenge and an opportunity for real estate businesses to participate deeply in the province's urban development and social security strategy," Ms. Thao emphasized. At the same time, she pledged that the government will accompany and create a transparent, stable and long-term investment environment for businesses.

Reporting at the Congress, Dak Lak Real Estate Association said that during the past term, despite many economic fluctuations and a sluggish market, the Association still maintained its role in connecting businesses, contributing to solving difficulties and improving the capacity of its members.

Training activities include: coordinating with the Department of Construction to issue practice certificates to more than 1,000 brokers; opening many training courses on legal knowledge and professional skills; updating land and credit policies, Land Law 2024, Real Estate Business Law. The Association also regularly organizes seminars, legal discussions, and "Real Estate Trade Festival" to help businesses connect with the market and reach customers.

Notably, the Association has expanded foreign relations, attended domestic and international forums, such as Vietnam Real Estate Brokerage Day, US Real Estate Conference - Exhibition NAR NXT 2023, Cicon Seoul Conference (Korea), etc., thereby introducing and promoting the image of Dak Lak and attracting more investment cooperation opportunities.

In parallel, the Association actively implements social security: building charity houses, supporting poor households, and giving hundreds of Tet gifts. These programs contribute to spreading the spirit of community responsibility of real estate businesses in the area.

The Congress agreed on the direction of activities for the 2025-2029 term, focusing on the following tasks: promoting the role of a bridge between businesses - government - people; policy review; promoting training and professionalization of brokers; expanding international cooperation; accompanying the province in implementing the social housing program.

The Congress elected the 2nd Executive Committee consisting of 17 members. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Hoa Investment Group Joint Stock Company Tran Tien Loi was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Association; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thien Tam Holdings Joint Stock Company Le The Quan held the position of Permanent Vice Chairman.

Collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province awarded many outstanding collectives and individuals; the Vietnam Real Estate Association awarded certificates of merit to the Dak Lak Real Estate Association. The Congress also announced the establishment of the Investment Promotion Board and the Eastern Dak Lak Real Estate Club. In particular, the Association awarded 15 million VND to the Tuor village community cultural and tourism development fund, demonstrating its commitment to linking economic development with social responsibility.

In his closing speech, the new Chairman of the Dak Lak Real Estate Association, Tran Tien Loi, affirmed: “The new term is opening up many opportunities but also many challenges. The Association is determined to be a reliable bridge between businesses - government - people; accompanying the creation of a transparent, modern, and humane market; at the same time, strengthening training, improving professional ethics, contributing to the sustainable development of the Dak Lak real estate industry.”

With the strong direction of the province and the efforts of the business community, Dak Lak Real Estate Association enters its second term with great confidence and expectations. The local real estate market is oriented to develop transparently, stably and closely linked to the master plan, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development goals until 2030, with a vision to 2050.
