Railway industry deploys free online ticket payment feature

When an incident occurs, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will issue a dispatch to relevant units in the industry and send a direct notice to passengers with train tickets during the affected period, to ensure that all information is transmitted promptly, clearly and transparently.

After receiving the notification, passengers can return tickets free of charge right on the website https://dsvn.vn without having to go to the station to complete the procedure as before. The electronic ticketing system will automatically refund the ticket amount to the account used for payment.

To ensure the online ticket payment process goes smoothly, passengers need to pay attention to enter the correct and complete information, including: phone number, email address, booking code. This information is the basis for the system to automatically compare, verify and make refunds.

A representative of Vietnam Railways Joint Stock Company said that this is one of the important steps in the digital transformation process of the railway industry, contributing to improving customer experience, helping passengers to be proactive and flexible in handling arising situations, while reducing the load on stations during peak hours when incidents occur.

This feature does not apply to passengers who buy tickets and pay in cash at stations, ticket agents... In these cases, passengers still carry out ticket return procedures directly at the station according to current regulations.
