Implement 60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration

(DN)- On November 12, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued Document No. 9579/UBND-KTNS on implementing the 60-day peak plan to convert the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households and individuals. This plan aims to implement the major policy of the Party and State on promoting sustainable development of the private economy.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned tasks to departments, branches, sectors; People's Committees of communes and wards; Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television to closely coordinate with the Provincial Tax Department and local Tax Departments to propagate and disseminate tax policies to business households, helping them understand and voluntarily convert to declaring households or enterprises in accordance with the State's legal policies in tax management to ensure the achievement of the set targets. Ensure that business households apply the method of self-declaration and self-payment of taxes from January 1, 2026. Ensure that 100% of business households have access to information and receive support on the content of converting from lump-sum tax to declaration, as well as converting from business households to enterprises. Ensure that 100% of subjects subject to applying electronic invoices generated from cash registers according to Decree 70/2025/ND-CP must register and use them. Ensure that 100% of business households carry out tax procedures electronically in a convenient and easy manner. Timely handle and answer 100% of business households' problems within 24 hours.

The Provincial People's Committee emphasized that close coordination during these 60 peak days will be a decisive factor in helping the plan to be implemented synchronously, improving tax management efficiency and ensuring the completion of state budget collection targets.
