Thai Nguyen Tea – When heritage steps out into the world

The exhibition “Thai Nguyen Tea – Heritage Reaching Out” will take place on December 19 and 20 in Tan Cuong and La Bang (Thai Nguyen). The event not only honors Thai tea trees but also opens up opportunities to promote, connect markets and bring local OCOP products closer to tourists, investors and international friends.

From December 19 to 20, the exhibition “ Thai Nguyen Tea – Heritage of Reaching Out” will take place in Tan Cuong and La Bang communes (Thai Nguyen). This is an event to promote and honor the value of Thai tea trees, while also promoting opportunities to expand the market for local OCOP products.

The exhibition “Thai Nguyen Tea - Heritage of Reaching Out” is an activity to promote and advertise the Thai Nguyen tea brand; create a space for exchange and connection between experts, artisans, and tea enterprises inside and outside the province on the journey to improve and export Vietnamese tea. The event also helps enterprises, cooperatives, production and trading households to approach potential partners, expand the market, enhance value and build a sustainable “Thai Nguyen Tea” brand.

As planned, the exhibition will take place over two days at three locations: Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space (Tan Cuong commune), Hao Dat Tea Cooperative (Tan Cuong commune) and La Bang commune tea hill.

The organizing committee expects to welcome about 320 delegates and guests with many rich activities: displaying booths promoting tea and OCOP products; experiencing the land of tea with its rich identity; cultural and artistic programs; discussion "Thai Nguyen Tea - From Heritage to the Future"; tea picking and drying competition "Golden Hands for Tea Processing 2025"; performing and experiencing traditional tea processing right at the organizing locations.

The program ended with the award ceremony and the auction of the winning tea products. All proceeds will be given to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to support the Fund for the Poor, spreading the humanistic meaning from the values ​​of tea trees.

For the event to be successful, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to be the standing agency, presiding over and coordinating with relevant departments, branches, localities and units to prepare conditions for implementation, ensuring safety, savings and efficiency. Information and propaganda work will be carried out synchronously, diversely and modernly, combining livestream, promotional clips, reports and live television to strongly spread the image of the tea region and Thai Nguyen tea culture to people, tourists and international friends.
