With his vibrant revolutionary life, as well as his experience and research into typical revolutions around the world and the revolutionary movements of his predecessors in Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh concluded that the revolutionary path of Vietnam is the socialist revolution.

According to VNA, speaking at a seminar held within the framework of the visit and working trip of the high-level delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam to Brazil, led by Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee, and Head of the Central Propaganda Department, historian Pedro Olivera, General Secretary of the Brazil-Vietnam Friendship Association (ABRAVIET), emotionally recalled that in 1912, on his journey to find a way to save the country, the young man Nguyen Tat Thanh arrived at the port of Rio de Janeiro and lived there for six months. At that time, Nguyen Tat Thanh worked in a restaurant in Lapa, near Santa Teresa. During this time, he first came into contact with the revolutionary spirit of Brazilian workers. It was President Ho Chi Minh who laid the foundation for the solidarity and friendship between the people of the two countries.

In her presentation on relations between Brazil and Vietnam, Ana Prestes, Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Brazilian Communist Party, emphasized that in the 1960s, the Brazilian people actively supported and stood in solidarity with the Vietnamese people's struggle for liberation and national reunification. Over the years, relations between the two countries have developed positively, characterized by political trust, increased mutual understanding, and cooperation. Both sides maintain exchanges of delegations and bilateral contacts, and strengthen trade. Brazil is a major trading partner of Vietnam in Latin America, and Vietnam is one of Brazil's largest trading partners in Southeast Asia.

In his closing remarks at the seminar, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed gratitude for the solidarity, friendship, and immense support of the people of Latin American countries, especially the people of Brazil, during Vietnam's resistance war against foreign invaders and the reunification of the country, as well as in the process of national construction and development. During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always considered the Vietnamese revolution as a part of the world revolution, closely linked to the revolutionary and progressive movements worldwide for peace , national independence, and social progress.

Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that, creatively applying President Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic thought, Vietnam continues to pursue a foreign policy of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development, actively and proactively integrating into the international community. The values in Ho Chi Minh's thought and the path to socialism being realized in Vietnam will continue to spread and serve as a strong source of encouragement and motivation for other nations on their path to building socialism.

On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, British historian John Callow assessed that President Ho Chi Minh's Testament is a historical document with profound practical and theoretical value not only for Vietnam but also for the world. According to the expert, the Testament is not dogmatic or rigid, but rather a guiding principle for action and political principles, acting as a political manifesto containing eternal values, a guide for action that can be creatively applied in all situations.

The British historian argues that President Ho Chi Minh's Testament delves into almost every field, encapsulating all of his thoughts, hopes, and dreams, as well as the ideological, moral, and stylistic foundations of his life. It summarizes the life of a humble, exemplary leader who always placed the people at the heart of his life.

John Callow emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh's Testament is a document of trust and confidence between the leader and the people, truthfully recording his hopes, dreams, and aspirations for future generations. With its profound humanistic thought, the Testament instills in the Vietnamese people an optimistic spirit that the path ahead, however difficult, will ultimately lead to an equal and just society. The expert affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh's legacy contains strength and inspires the Vietnamese people, as well as progressive people around the world.
