Along Provincial Road 627C, passing through Dang Thuy Tram Commune, there are many rocks weighing several tons lying along both sides of the road. At some points, local people joined forces to carry small rocks and pile them up along the road. In many places along the road, rocks "hang" suspended on the positive slope, not knowing when they will fall.
According to the People's Committee of Dang Thuy Tram commune, on provincial road 627C from the commune's administrative center to Ba To commune, dozens of boulders with diameters ranging from 0.3 to 1 meter have fallen freely onto the road, causing the roadbed to collapse, blocking drainage ditches, and in some places, boulders no longer have a fixed structure, cracking open and waiting to fall onto the road when there is heavy rain.
Particularly, the 300m section through the central area of Dang Thuy Tram commune to the famous tourist destination of Bui Hui grassland has up to 6 falling rock points and many other locations are at high risk because many rocks "lost their feet". If it rains, the ground on the positive slope is loose and has poor adhesion, so the risk of landslides and falling rocks is inevitable.
To ensure traffic safety on the route and warn road users, in addition to organizing the collection of small rocks and hiring excavators to remove large boulders, the Dang Thuy Tram commune government installed many danger warning signs at key locations and advised people to limit traffic on this road section during heavy rain.
