Doctor Nguyen Ngoc Thinh assigned to manage the Central Highlands General Hospital

On the morning of October 4, at the Central Highlands General Hospital, the Department of Health held a ceremony to announce the decision on personnel work and assign managers to the Central Highlands General Hospital.

Director of the Department of Health Nay Phi La handed over the decision to assign the management of the Central Highlands General Hospital to Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thinh.

Accordingly, Director of the Department of Health Nay Phi La issued Decision No. 1027/QD-SYT dated October 4, 2025 on assigning Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thinh - Deputy Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital to manage the Central Highlands General Hospital from October 4, 2025 to ensure the handling of the hospital's work while waiting for the competent authority to appoint a new Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital.

Speaking at the decision-giving ceremony, Director of the Department of Health Nay Phi La asked Deputy Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital Nguyen Ngoc Thinh to focus on human resources and strengthen professional activities to meet the increasing treatment needs of the people.

Deputy Executive Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital Nguyen Ngoc Thinh thanked the Board of Directors of the Department of Health as well as the hospital's leadership, staff and workers for entrusting him with the task of managing the hospital. At the same time, he said that he would work together with the hospital to unite and complete the assigned tasks.

Deputy Executive Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital Nguyen Ngoc Thinh shared the difficulties in implementing medical examination and treatment at the unit.

Previously, regarding the case of the hospital's laser lithotripsy machine being broken for 2 years but still being declared to perform procedures on 255 patients at the Central Highlands General Hospital, the Investigation Police Agency, Dak Lak Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute the accused, and ordered the temporary detention of Mr. Nguyen Dang Giap (Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital) to investigate the act of "Lack of responsibility causing serious consequences".

The Investigation Police Agency - Dak Lak Provincial Police also initiated a case, prosecuted and temporarily detained the defendants Nguyen Ngoc Hoang (born in 1977, Head of the Department of Nephrology - Urology) and Bui Ngoc Duc (born in 1974, Head of the Department of Surgery - Anesthesia and Resuscitation) for the act of "Taking advantage of position and power while performing official duties".
