Handing over 21 Associations assigned by the Party and State to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee

On the afternoon of November 21, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to organize a conference to hand over the Associations assigned by the Party and State to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province.

Attending the conference were leaders of provincial departments and branches and 21 mass organizations.

According to Decision 386/QD-UBND dated July 30, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, the status quo of 21 mass organizations assigned by the Party and State to operate in the province is transferred to the direct management of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The Associations include: Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, Provincial Red Cross Association, Provincial Literature and Arts Association, Provincial Lawyers Association, Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, Provincial Journalists Association, Provincial Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, Provincial Association of the Elderly, Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers, Provincial Oriental Medicine Association, Provincial Cooperative Alliance, Provincial Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - France Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association, Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans, Provincial Vietnam Youth Union, Tan Trao Club, Gardening Association, Bar Association, Provincial Association of Former Teachers, Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations.

The transfer of the Associations under the direct control of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee is a major policy, in line with practical requirements and general trends, not only streamlining the focal points, but also strengthening the leadership of the Party, enhancing the core role of the Fatherland Front, promoting democracy and the strength of great national unity. This is a fundamental innovation in the method of operation, bringing the mass Associations back to their proper position and role in the political system, operating under the "common roof" of the Front, creating a comprehensive, unified and synchronous strength.

In order to achieve practical results in the transfer and organization of the Associations' activities, the Provincial People's Committee continues to fully implement its state management responsibilities for the Associations in accordance with regulations. At the same time, assign specialized departments and branches to coordinate and accompany the Associations in related fields of activities, ensuring consistency between state management and the activities of the Front's member organizations.

For the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, it will preside over and coordinate the implementation of the Project on arranging and merging mass associations assigned by the Party and the State, ensuring streamlining and efficiency. Timely orient, guide, monitor and link the activities of the associations with emulation movements and major campaigns chaired by the Front.
