Hanoi Police Club and Nam Dinh Club are the two Vietnamese teams participating in the AFC Champions League Two this season. While the foreign players played brilliantly and brought goals for the Vietnamese team, goalkeeper Nguyen Filip made a silly mistake that allowed Beijing Guoan strikers to score. Slow judgment, subjectivity and poor footwork caused the goalkeeper of Vietnamese origin, who grew up in the Czech Republic, to have to pick the ball out of the net twice.

After 4 rounds of the V-League this season, Hanoi Police Club is temporarily leading the rankings but Nguyen Filip has also had to pick the ball out of the net 4 times. In the Southeast Asia Cup C1 arena, Hanoi Police Club ranked 5th/6 in Group A after losing to BG Pathum United in round 1.
