Nguyen Manh Duy became the first Vietnamese to conquer the 8,163 m high Manaslu mountain peak.

According to information from Mr. Rajendra Dhakal, Liaison Officer of the Government of Nepal, Mr. Nguyen Manh Duy successfully reached the top of Mount Manaslu on the afternoon of September 22, 2024, at 14:51 (local time).

Accompanying Nguyen Manh Duy is Mr. Temba Bhote, an experienced mountain climbing guide, known as Himalayan Sherpa.

This achievement is not only meaningful to Mr. Nguyen Manh Duy but also to Mr. Bhote, who became the first guide to lead a Vietnamese climber to the top of Manaslu, the 8th highest mountain in the world and one of the most difficult to conquer.
