Nguyen Nhat Long made a miracle rarer than scoring HIO

Nguyen Nhat Long scored an albatross (hitting 3 strokes under par) on the par-5 second hole at Champion Course at Trang An Golf & Resort, right before the Trang An Open 2025.

The 585-yard par-5 second hole is a challenge that is not easy to overcome even for the most experienced golfers. But Nguyen Nhat Long turned that challenge into a glorious moment.

After a steady tee shot, Nhat Long faced his second shot from 185 yards. With a 6-iron in hand and confidence mixed with determination, he hit the ball with a perfect trajectory, landed accurately, rolled lightly on the green and went straight into the hole, to the amazement and joy of the spectators.
