CAHN leads the Asian Cup C2, pushing the Chinese club to the bottom of the table

TPO - The second round of Group E of the C2 Asian Cup ended with a score of 3-0 in favor of the home teams Cong An Ha Noi (CAHN) and Macartur. Thus, the Vietnamese representative took the lead.

Against Tai Po, who were considered weaker, CAHN completely dominated the game. First, in the 27th minute, Le Van Do assisted Rodrigo Alves to score the opening goal. 6 minutes later, the Brazilian striker scored twice when he took advantage of a sensitive pass from Leo Artur.

From then on, the match was completely under CAHN's control. Coach Mano Polking brought in his substitutes but still easily overwhelmed the representatives of Hong Kong, China. In the 89th minute, substitute player Van Duc scored to seal a 3-0 victory for the Vietnamese representatives.

Alves scored twice for CAHN

CAHN's victory was even more meaningful because in the previous match, Beijing Guoan lost 0-3 to Macartur. This loss reflected the limited level of the Chinese team. Unlike the opening match where CAHN was lucky to draw 2-2, this time Beijing Guoan fielded their strongest force with quality players from Brazil and Angola.

They used 4 “mercenaries” from abroad instead of just 1 like in the match with the Vietnamese representative. However, that still could not fill the gap in skill between this team and the Australian representative. Throughout the match, Beijing Guoan almost only knew how to defend and the 0-3 loss reflected the difference in skill between the two teams.

So after 2 matches in Group E, CAHN has risen to the top with 4 points. They are the only team that has not lost a match (1 win and 1 draw). Second place is divided equally between Macartur and Tai Po while Beijing Guoan is at the bottom with only 1 point.
