After Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club completed Group A of the 2025/26 Asian Women's Club Championship, reaching the quarter-finals, 6 players: Quach Thu Em, Cu Thi Huynh Nhu, Huynh Nhu, Tran Thi Thu Thao, Nguyen Thi Kim Yen and Tran Thi Kim Thanh continued to be added to the team by Coach Mai Duc Chung.
Two assistants of Ho Chi Minh City Club, Coach Doan Thi Kim Chi and Assistant Nguyen Thi Kim Hong, were also added to the coaching staff to support professional preparation.
According to the plan, from Viet Tri (Phu Tho), the Vietnamese women's team went straight to Noi Bai International Airport on the night of November 20, with 8 members flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi at the same time, checking in for the flight at 01:35 on November 21 and expected to land in Nagoya at 08:00 am (local time).
During the 10-day training in Japan, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will have three friendly matches with teams from the university system in Nagoya, to evaluate the team's performance, coordination ability and tactical adaptation.
After the training program, the team will return to Ho Chi Minh City on November 30 and stay for two more days to adapt to the weather and temperature conditions in the area. On December 2, the team will move to Chonburi (Thailand), ready to embark on the journey to conquer the 33rd SEA Games.
