Quang Ngai: Thousands of cubic meters of soil landslide, cutting off National Highway 24

In the early morning of November 23, at Km112+600 (National Highway 24, through Mang Den commune, Quang Ngai province), a large landslide occurred, thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil from the slope collapsed, burying the entire road surface, causing traffic disruption on the route.

The landslide is about 60m long, with a height of 3.5-4m. The Quang Ngai Department of Construction has mobilized two excavators to the scene to quickly level the two ends of the landslide to clear the road. Due to the landslide, many vehicles cannot move and are parked in long lines at both ends of the road. Authorities recommend that road users temporarily choose another route to ensure safety.
