After graduating from Dong Thap University with a degree in Chemistry, Ms. Thao was accepted to work at Tan Nghia Secondary School (Tan Nghia Commune, Cao Lanh District) in 2005. In 2012, Ms. Thao transferred to teach at Nguyen Minh Tri Secondary School until now. "It was my love for teaching that helped me fall in love with the teaching profession and then stick with it as a predestined relationship for the past 20 years. Up to now, every day I go to school to teach, seeing my students progress every day is always a joy for me" - Ms. Nguyen Hoang Phuong Thao shared.

With enthusiasm, dedication and responsibility for her work, Ms. Thao always strives to research and apply new, dynamic and attractive methods, applying information technology to teaching students. In order to have effective lessons and arouse students' passion, Ms. Thao innovates and organizes activities for students in the classroom in a close and practical way, linking chemical knowledge with reality and practical experiments; integrating STEM teaching methods... Thereby, helping students become more interested in and love Chemistry and promote their creativity. During many years of work, Ms. Thao has also proactively researched and implemented many initiatives and scientific research topics that have been recognized and directly applied to bring about effectiveness in teaching such as: some measures to organize integrated teaching projects according to Chemistry topics; training life skills for students through teaching methods and through Chemistry lessons; some effective measures in teaching and fostering excellent students in Chemistry at secondary school level...

In addition, being assigned by the school to train excellent students in Chemistry, from 2008 to present, Ms. Thao has guided many students to win high prizes in district and provincial level competitions. In addition, Ms. Thao also guides students to participate in and win prizes in the District and Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Competition. As a homeroom teacher, throughout the school year, Ms. Thao is always proactive in making specific and clear plans and understanding the circumstances of each student to promptly help students in difficulty. At the same time, she guides the development of capacity, discovers thinking ability, creativity and strengths, grasps aspirations, and promptly supports career counseling for students.
