Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House celebrates 70 years of tradition and receives Third Class Labor Medal

On April 15, at the Hanoi Opera House, Hanoi People's Newspaper Printing Company Limited solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its tradition (1954 - 2024) and received the Third Class Labor Medal (for the second time) - a noble award from the Party and State in recognition of the unit's outstanding contributions throughout its construction and development. Attending the ceremony were Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh emphasized: After 70 years of formation and development, from a modest printing facility of Nhan Dan Newspaper located at 15 Hang Trong right after the takeover of the Capital (1954), up to now, Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House has become a modern, professional printing unit, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, progress and prestige of printing publications of Nhan Dan Newspaper - the central mouthpiece of the Party.

"Not only ensuring the correct printing - full printing - beautiful printing of Nhan Dan Newspaper's press publications, the company also expands to print important documents of the Party and State, prints publications for central agencies, localities, international organizations... At the same time, it always maintains stable operations, ensures income for workers, constantly invests in technological innovation, and improves production capacity in the context of increasingly fierce competition and digital transformation", Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh emphasized.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the President and Party leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan awarded the Third Class Labor Medal (for the second time) to the collective leadership, officers, employees and workers of Hanoi People's Newspaper Printing Company Limited, recognizing the company's outstanding achievements in the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Hanoi People's Newspaper Printing Company is currently responsible for printing more than 78,000 copies/issue of the daily People's Newspaper; more than 22,000 copies/issue of the weekend People's Newspaper; and many other publications such as the monthly People's Newspaper, the People's Photo Newspaper, the weekend People's Electronic Newspaper, the full text of the 13th Party Congress documents, internal documents, reports summarizing Party building work, summarizing Central resolutions...

For many years, the company has invested in many modern equipment, applying 4-color offset printing technology and inkjet printing techniques, improving the quality of presentation and printing speed. At the same time, the company has deployed a part of the operating process to check for errors in page layout and color correction.

Party Secretary and Company President Tran Thi Kieu Thanh Binh emotionally shared: “The 70-year tradition of being associated with the development of Nhan Dan Newspaper is a source of great pride. This is not only a milestone for us to express our gratitude to previous generations of staff, but also a driving force for the collective today to continue to strive to maintain quality and progress, ensure absolute security of information and important political documents, and enhance the competitiveness of a prestigious printing brand in the industry.”

At the ceremony, the delegates and all the company's staff together reviewed the glorious tradition and recalled the difficult resistance period. Those years laid the foundation for a steadfast printing house, ready to go with the times and effectively serve the Party's revolutionary cause.

The 70th anniversary celebration is not only an occasion to pay tribute to the contributions of generations of Printing House staff, but also an affirmation of the company's irreplaceable position in the national media system. Faced with the new requirements of revolutionary journalism in the digital age, Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House will continue to be a pioneer, steadfast on the journey of innovation, modernization and integration.
