Network operators simultaneously launch promotions to celebrate 80th National Day

Viettel, VinaPhone and MobiFone all offer preferential packages or free large amounts of data on the occasion of the September 2nd holiday.

Viettel Telecom representative said that from August 19, this network launched the 5G29 package - the cheapest 5G package ever with the price of 29,000 VND for 12GB of mobile Internet capacity with 80 minutes of calling and 80 SMS. This is a special package of the network with the largest market share in the country to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2. When users register from August 19 to September 2, the capacity will be increased to 24GB.

In addition to mobile services, Viettel also offers incentives for fixed-line Internet services, reducing fees by VND29,000 from August 5 to September 30, which can be accumulated for customers who pay in advance for one year.

Previously, VinaPhone also launched a program to give free data to all of its subscribers nationwide. Users will be given from 2GB to 80GB, depending on their consumption in July.

MobiFone launched the VN80 package - 80GB of mobile data for 34,000 VND, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of National Day and 34 provinces/cities. This network also gave 50% of the card value to prepaid subscribers on September 2, with no limit on the number of top-ups.

Along with launching packages and promotions, in the past week all three carriers have expanded their networks, adding stations in Hanoi at the airport and parade routes, which are expected to have a larger number of users than usual.
