Attending the program, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Network of Vietnamese Women Diplomats, there was the presence of Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, Former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, President of the Network of Vietnamese Women Diplomats; Comrade Nguyen Xuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Comrade Le Thi Hong Van, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy. In addition, there were also female ambassadors, representatives of leaders of units and a large number of female officers and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On behalf of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association, the program was honored to welcome Dr. Dang Thi Bich Lien, President of the Association, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund, Permanent Vice President of the Association, along with Vice Presidents and more than 100 members of the Association.

In his opening speech at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Giang sent his best wishes to female leaders of departments, branches, associations and all female staff of the Vietnamese diplomatic sector.
The Deputy Minister affirmed that Vietnamese women have always accompanied the nation through all periods, from founding and defending the country to building and developing the country. Their contributions, especially those of female diplomats, have lasting historical value and will last forever.

"We always respect, appreciate and thank the contributions of generations of female diplomats. I believe that you will continue to write the story of Vietnam, continue to write the story of peace not only for Vietnam but also for the world," Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Giang affirmed.

Also in the program, Dr. Dang Thi Bich Lien, President of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association, expressed her emotion and pride when witnessing the image of female diplomats wearing Vietnamese ao dai. The doctor emphasized that ao dai is not only a costume but also a vivid cultural work, crystallizing the harmony between tradition and modernity, between identity and integration.
“Each ao dai that female diplomats wear is a cultural message sent to international friends, about an elegant, confident Vietnam that proudly affirms its position in the international arena,” Dr. Bich Lien shared.

On behalf of female officials, comrade Le Thi Hong Van, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy, expressed pride in the image of confident and graceful Vietnamese female diplomats in traditional ao dai.
He affirmed that women diplomats are not only bridges of peace and friendship, but also cultural ambassadors, contributing to spreading the identity and beauty of Vietnam to the world. He also expressed his sincere thanks to the attention and close direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the coordination of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association, and the affection and support of ambassadors, colleagues, designers and artisans who contributed to the success of the program.

The highlight of this year's program is the unique combination of fashion show and cultural diplomacy, with the participation of famous designers and performances by female officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Three ao dai collections on display include: "Heritage in Hanoi" by designer Anh Thu - Ao dai Ngan An brand, "Vietnam Gam Hoa" by designer Nguyen Lan Vy, and "Sac Nui" by designer Han Phuong - Ao dai Viet Phuong brand.
In particular, female officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confidently strut their stuff in Vietnamese ao dai, honoring the beauty that blends tradition and modernity of Vietnamese women. From Bat Trang ceramic enamel motifs, ink-wash lotus flowers to brilliant brocade colors, each collection tells a story about national cultural identity.
The delicate combination of professional models and female diplomats not only created an impressive performance but also sent a strong message: Vietnamese female diplomats are not only foreign ambassadors but also cultural ambassadors, contributing to spreading the beauty of Vietnamese ao dai to international friends.

At the exchange session, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, President of the Network of Vietnamese Women Diplomats, shared in-depth about the role and image of female diplomats in Ao Dai at multilateral diplomatic forums. The Ambassador affirmed that Ao Dai is not only a traditional costume but also a cultural symbol, expressing the identity and qualities of Vietnamese women in the international arena.

At the end of the program, Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Giang and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Xuan Anh presented the most beautiful bouquets of flowers to female diplomats, officials of the Vietnam Ao Dai Association and designers attending the program.
With the theme “Female diplomats with Vietnamese Ao Dai”, the celebration program contributed to honoring the beauty and contributions of Vietnamese female diplomats, while promoting the image of traditional Ao Dai to the world, deeply affirming the cultural values and national identity of Vietnam.
