The school apologizes for the incident where a child's education was "suspended" due to a father's questioning of the curriculum.

Regarding the complaint that students were notified by the school that their training would be "suspended" due to parental feedback on the curriculum, Ngo Quyen High School has just released a detailed report on the incident and its proposed solutions.

Accordingly, in preparation for the 2024-2025 school year, the school informed and sought feedback from parents regarding the arrangement of classes according to a high-quality orientation, and received their agreement. During this exchange of information, the school hastily made the decision to "stop training" for student NNH (class 12xx) due to a misunderstanding between the school and the family.

On August 15th, following instructions from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the school intensified communication and reached a consensus with the students' parents. Subsequently, the school issued a decision to revoke the "suspension of training" decision for student NNH.

According to information from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the family of student NNH acknowledges the apology from the school's Board of Directors and wishes for the matter to be closed to help their child stabilize their mental state, focus on studying well, and prepare for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Previously, upon receiving reports that Ngo Quyen High School had decided to "suspend training" for students, on August 15th, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requested the school principal to seriously implement several related measures, arrange students into classes according to regulations, ensure the consensus of all students and parents of the class, and obtain the agreement of all teachers in the school's teaching council.

The Department requires schools to strictly comply with the regulations on public disclosure of information as stipulated in Circular 09, dated June 3, 2024, of the Ministry of Education and Training, which regulates transparency in the activities of educational institutions within the national education system.

The information to be publicly disclosed as required includes general information about the educational institution; financial income and expenditure; conditions for ensuring the quality of general education activities; and plans and results of general education activities. The school strictly adheres to the regulations of the education sector, ensuring the legitimate rights and aspirations of students.
