On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), a special art program called For Forever After will be took place on July 24 and 25 at Hoan Kiem Theater.

The program is conducted by conductor Le Phi Phi, the script is written by Dr. Le Y Linh, with the participation of many artists such as People's Artist Co Huy Hung (moon lute), People's Artist Xuan Binh (mono), People's Artist Vuong Ha (poetry recitation), Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, singers Trong Tan, Dao To Loan, Thanh Le, Bui Trang, Tran Trang, Truong Linh; pianist Trinh Huong, flute artist Thu Huong, bamboo flute Anh Linh, saxophone Quyen Thien Dac, accordionist Nguyen Minh Tan, piano Binh Son, Oplus group... In particular, the program also has the participation of violinist Lydia Dobrevska from North Macedonia.

The focus of the program is to introduce typical works of musician Hoang Van - who devoted his entire life to composing for the revolution and the nation. His music is imbued with patriotism, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the People's Public Security force and the image of a peaceful country after the war.

Through his emotional and profound compositions, musician Hoang Van has contributed to fostering love for the Fatherland, arousing national pride and ideals of a beautiful life for many generations. In 2000, he was awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Arts. In April 2025, his collection of works was recognized by UNESCO as a World Documentary Heritage.

The program consists of 2 parts: Remembrance and Hope . In the Remembrance chapter, the audience will enjoy Symphony No. II - Memorial (chapter I) and especially the musical composition of the poem Night Scene by President Ho Chi Minh - one of the highlights restored by conductor Le Phi Phi from the original text. Revolutionary songs such as I am a miner , That soldier, Transport song carry a strong fighting and constructive spirit.

In particular, the work Quang Binh, my homeland, is renewed with a unique combination of the moon lute by People's Artist Co Huy Hung and the Symphony Orchestra, blending tradition and modernity.

Chapter 2 opens up a bright, vibrant musical space, expressing the spirit of national construction in peacetime. From Lullaby in the Fireworks Night , the program takes the audience back to their childhood through the children's suites I love my school, The yellow-ringed bird, The season of phoenix flowers blooming... Songs such as Tay Nguyen Love Song, Sailor's Heartfelt Song, Singing about Rice Plants Today, Song of People's Teachers ... continue the beautiful flow of the homeland. Closing the program is the mashup For Today, for Tomorrow, for Forever After - a joyful song of love, peace and the aspiration to reach far of the Vietnamese people.
