Barcelona will host their arch-rivals Real Madrid in a special El Clásico match that will decide the La Liga title for the 2024/25 season.

Currently, Barca leads the table with 79 points, while Real Madrid is close behind with a 4-point gap.

On a personal level, the El Clásico in La Liga's 35th round is also a battle to determine the Pichichi (Top Scorer) title between Robert Lewandowski – who currently has 25 goals, and Kylian Mbappe – the author of 24 goals for Real Madrid.

For Barca, besides the goal of winning to conquer La Liga, El Clásico is also an opportunity to overcome the pain of defeat against Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-finals.

For their part, Real Madrid sought to turn the tables and snatch glory from their rivals.

This is no easy task for Carlo Ancelotti and his team. Because, in the last 36 years, no Real Madrid coach has been able to win two consecutive La Liga titles.

Compared to the defeat against Inter, Hansi Flick has the return of Alejandro Balde. However, his chances of starting are still uncertain.

Similarly, Lewandowski is not yet in his best physical condition despite playing a few minutes against Inter. Hansi Flick plans to only use Balde and Lewandowski in the second half, depending on the team's performance.
