Two Premier League newcomers will battle it out for three valuable points on Saturday afternoon, as Southampton host Leicester City at St Mary's.

Southampton put in a decent performance against Arsenal two weeks ago but eventually lost 3-1, while Leicester City got back to winning ways by beating Bournemouth 1-0.
Latest Southampton vs Leicester team information
Before the win over Arsenal, Jack Stephens - who was serving a three-match ban for his red card against Manchester United - was banned for a further two matches for insulting the referee, and will miss the second match of his ban.
Southampton were also hit by the loss of unlucky striker Ross Stewart to a muscle injury in the first half of their defeat to Arsenal, and manager Russell Martin has confirmed he will miss the weekend. Yukinari Sugawara is also out with fitness concerns, but has been part of the Japan squad for the international break.
Gavin Bazunu (Achilles tendon) is a long-term absentee, but Martin has been buoyed by the return of Kamaldeen Sulemana (ankle) and Will Smallbone (thigh).
Leicester boss Steve Cooper confirmed the injury situation remains the same as before the international break, with towering centre-back Jannik Vestergaard ready to return after playing a few minutes for Denmark this month.
Patson Daka and Jakub Stolarczyk are still recovering from ankle injuries, while Hamza Choudhury could be out for months after dislocating his shoulder in training in early October.
Despite his love of scoring against the Big Six, Leicester captain Jamie Vardy has his best record against Southampton, with 12 goal involvements (8 goals, 4 assists) – the most against a single team in his career in the competition.

Latest Southampton vs Leicester football review
A match that seemed to be playing out in a predictable fashion from the first minutes turned out to be a surprise at the Emirates last weekend, as Southampton survived Arsenal's relentless pressure in the first half and took a surprise lead thanks to Cameron Archer's exquisite finish.
However, the joy of Southampton fans lasted just three minutes, when Kai Havertz took advantage of a mistake from the visitors to level the scores for Arsenal. Then Gabriel Martinelli's volley at the far post and Bukayo Saka's late strike completed the comeback for the Gunners.

Defeat in north London – while not as humiliating as many had imagined – left Southampton, currently 19th, one of four teams yet to win their first Premier League game this season, along with Ipswich Town, Crystal Palace and bottom-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Despite the pressure, manager Russell Martin remains safe in the hot seat, but he risks becoming part of unwanted history; if Southampton fail to win on Saturday they will set a new club record of 21 consecutive games without a win in the English top flight.
Despite their reputation for dominating possession, Southampton's dominance has not translated into attacking output, with them scoring just four goals, the worst tally in the Premier League this season.
While Southampton lost their slim advantage two weeks ago, it was a completely different story for their next opponents - Leicester City. The Foxes moved off the winless list after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Andoni Iraola's Bournemouth.
Facundo Buonanotte, on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, scored the only goal of the game at the King Power with a crisp finish in the 16th minute to secure Leicester's first league win since April, and their third in all competitions this season after wins over Walsall and Tranmere Rovers in the Carabao Cup.
One of only three teams to score in every Premier League game this season - along with Arsenal and Manchester City - Leicester's maiden win came late, but Steve Cooper and his men are now clear of the danger zone, sitting 15th and three points above the relegation zone.
Cooper's next target is to end Leicester's run of 11 away wins in the Premier League, a run stretching back to a 4-2 win over Aston Villa in February 2023 - the last time Leicester won back-to-back league games.
Five years after their 9-0 thrashing at St Mary's, Leicester repeated their feat of scoring nine goals against Southampton in the Championship last season, although over two games they won 4-1 away before thrashing them 5-0 at the King Power, where Abdul Fatawu scored a hat-trick. Southampton can boast of their defensive effort for an hour against Arsenal, but blunders cost them.
Martin's side may find it difficult to avoid defeat against an attacking Leicester side that are always dangerous, but the Foxes' defence has also conceded eight goals away from home this season and could be forced to settle for a draw, although this result still leaves Southampton short of their first win.
