The incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. on March 11 on Ly Nam De Street (Group 6, Tra Ba Ward, Pleiku City), when a sleeper bus of Anh Phat collided with a motorbike driven by a woman.

At that time, Mr. PVM (70 years old) and Mr. NVD (living in Tra Ba ward) were exercising nearby and saw the woman lying on the road, and the motorbike was close to the front wheel of the bus. At the same time, 3 employees wearing Anh Phat bus company uniforms got out, scolded the woman and took the motorbike away from the scene.

Seeing this, Mr. M. suggested that the victim's health should be taken into consideration and the scene should be left intact to wait for the authorities to arrive and resolve the matter. However, an employee called him "you" and punched Mr. M. in the face.

Witnessing the inappropriate behavior of the bus staff towards Mr. M., Mr. TQL (residing in Ia Kring ward, Pleiku city) spoke up: "Why did the bus staff hit an old man after colliding with a motorbike, and a passerby gave their opinion?" Before he could finish, the bus staff rushed in and beat Mr. L. repeatedly.

After being beaten, Mr. L. ran to his acquaintance's house to tell Mr. PMT (living in Tra Ba ward) about the incident and both went to the scene. The two sides exchanged words, and Mr. L. and Mr. T. continued to be beaten by the bus station staff, leaving both injured.

Afterwards, Mr. L. and Mr. T. were taken to the Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment. After examination, doctors determined that Mr. L. had an open wound to the head, chest and abdominal injuries, and a shoulder injury. Mr. T. had injuries to the wrist, hand, and a concussion...

On March 14, speaking with VietNamNet, Mr. Nguyen Luong Quang, owner of Anh Phat bus company, said that at that time, the bus had just signed an order to leave for the Gia Lai - Nha Trang route. While crossing the street to turn around, a woman living in the same neighborhood as the driver hit the bus on her motorbike. Because the two sides knew each other, the driver and the bus assistant pulled the bus to the side of the road.

At this time, two men (Mr. PVM and Mr. NVD - PV) appeared, asking to keep the scene intact to call the police to resolve the matter, so the two sides got into a fight. That man (Mr. M. - PV) wanted to hit the driver, so the driver hit back.

According to Mr. Nguyen Luong Quang, two other people appeared later (Mr. TQL and Mr. PMT - PV). After being beaten, they ran back to call for help and brought a knife to chase and beat the bus staff. After that, the bus staff held a chair and a stick to fight back in self-defense.

“After the incident, I asked the driver and staff to go to the hospital to visit the victim. It was wrong for the driver and staff of Anh Phat to beat the victim and cause him to be hospitalized. We are waiting for Mr. L. to be discharged from the hospital to negotiate compensation,” said Mr. Quang.
