DTO - Overcoming difficulties and challenges with political determination, the Standing Committee of Tam Nong District Party Committee has always been innovative, creative, flexible in leadership, direction and timely implementation of many solutions. The results of most of the targets in 2023 increased significantly compared to the same period and basically completed 9 key tasks, achieved and exceeded 9/10 main targets in the 2023 Action Program of the Tam Nong District Party Committee.

In 2023, the work of building the Party and the political system will continue to be strengthened; resolutions, conclusions, programs and thematic plans of higher levels will be deployed, concretized and promptly implemented; studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle will be widely deployed, many outstanding organizations and individuals will be commended and rewarded on the occasion of Uncle Ho's birthday, May 19.

The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints continues to be strengthened and effective. Thereby, creating a positive change in the awareness, actions and responsibilities of cadres and party members, especially heads of agencies and units. Organizing meetings and direct exchanges between district leaders with cadres, party members and people; implementing 32 "Dialogue with the People" programs on radio; promptly grasping the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of cadres, party members and people towards the Party and State, contributing to creating closeness, attachment and increasing trust between the Party, government and people.

Recently, Tam Nong district has paid great attention to the work of arranging and assigning cadres, especially planning leadership and management positions to create human resources for Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030; supplementing Party committees and Standing Committees of grassroots Party committees for the term 2020 - 2025; personnel running for the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the District Farmers' Association and District Labor Federation for the term 2023 - 2028 are carried out in accordance with the process, quantity, especially the proportion of young cadres and female cadres.

Implementing Instruction No. 11-HD/BTCTU dated September 19, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Standing Committee of Tam Nong District Party Committee promptly piloted the model of "Party cells where party members work far from their place of residence". Up to now, the district has established 6 effectively operating Party cells. This model helps the Party Committee regularly connect with party members, thereby closely managing party members who work far from home, in accordance with regulations, limiting the situation of party members violating the Party Charter. The work of creating sources and developing party members has always been of interest and focus to the district, contributing to improving the quality of party members. Since the beginning of 2023, Tam Nong district has admitted 123 party members, reaching 121.78% of the target assigned by the province; At the same time, propose the Provincial Party Standing Committee to give opinions on admitting 3 people to the Party (violating Regulation No. 58-QD/TW of the Politburo , population policy and re-admission), bringing the total number to 3,450 party members, accounting for 3.45% of the district's population.

Pursuant to the Resolution of the 12th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025; the results of implementing tasks in 2023 and the actual local situation, the Tam Nong District Party Executive Committee has built an Action Program for 2024 with 8 key tasks and 10 main targets. Specifically, focusing resources on building the district to meet new rural standards; continuing to restructure the agricultural sector and build new rural areas; creating conditions for start-ups and developing OCOP products; effectively implementing the Plan "Eco-friendly rice production, conservation and development of Red-crowned Cranes in Tram Chim National Park" and the Plan "Developing livelihoods in the area adjacent to Tram Chim National Park". Strive to collect state budget and disburse investment capital to meet the set plan targets; effectively carry out the work of taking care of people's health, proactively preventing and fighting epidemics in humans; Promote job creation and poverty reduction in conjunction with effective implementation of social security policies; maintain political security and social order and safety; continue to improve the quality of Party cell and Party committee activities, leadership capacity, and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and Party members; prepare documents and personnel for Party Congresses at all levels in the district for the 2025-2030 term.
