STRONG TRANSFORMATION

My Tinh An Commune, established on the basis of merging and consolidating 4 commune-level administrative units (My Tinh An, Trung Hoa, Hoa Tinh, Tan Binh Thanh), with a natural area of ​​over 4,100 hectares and nearly 36,500 people, this rural area faces many challenges: the political apparatus needs to be improved, the infrastructure is not synchronous, and people's lives are not really stable. However, with the motto of action "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", My Tinh An has been and is changing strongly, taking on a new look.

What is easily seen in My Tinh An today is the spirit of “Friendly Government”. The public administration office is spacious, administrative procedures are handled online, creating convenience for the people. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, a resident of My Tinh An commune, shared: “Previously, to do paperwork, I had to go back and forth many times, now I only need to submit the application once at the one-stop department, and I can receive the results online.

The service attitude of the commune officials is very dedicated, I and the people are very satisfied". Secretary of the Commune Party Committee Tran Hoang Tuan affirmed: "We determine that people's satisfaction is a measure of work efficiency. Today's change starts from the way of working close to the people, respecting the people, and for the people".

For a long time, My Tinh An has been famous for its vast dragon fruit and coconut gardens; now that advantage is being promoted thanks to agricultural restructuring. The dragon fruit area reaches 1,644 hectares, coconut 1,445 hectares; hundreds of households have boldly applied digital technology, electronic diaries, traceability, and put agricultural products on e-commerce platforms.

Agricultural extension and science and technology transfer have always been focused on. Through transfer, farmers have applied scientific and technical advances in livestock and crop farming, bringing high economic efficiency.

Many models apply advanced processes, good agricultural practices, digital transformation applications to agricultural production processes, electronic diary applications, and traceability of agricultural products.

In particular, the commune currently has 8 OCOP products, of which 1 product has achieved 4 stars, 7 products have achieved 3 stars, this is proof of the sustainable direction associated with building local brands. One of the most obvious marks of My Tinh An is the traffic infrastructure system. 53 commune and hamlet roads have been 100% asphalted and concreted. Bright - green - clean - beautiful roads not only help people travel conveniently but also open up opportunities for trade and service development.

Mr. Thai Van Manh shared: “In the past, the roads were muddy, making it very difficult to transport agricultural products to sell during the rainy season. Now the roads are concrete and paved straight, trucks can go right into the garden, traders can come right to the place to buy, we farmers are very excited”. In addition, traditional market buildings have been upgraded, and canals in the fields have been dredged regularly, ensuring irrigation for the fields, creating a dynamic new rural appearance.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

In My Tinh An commune, the movement to encourage learning and talent has developed strongly. The rate of 5-year-old children entering kindergarten and 6-year-old children entering grade 1 is 100%; 11 schools all have spacious facilities. In addition, the movement "New rural cultural hamlet" has spread throughout 20/20 hamlets, 90% of households meet cultural standards. Sports and art clubs are maintained vigorously, enriching the spiritual life of the people.

My Tinh An Commune Youth Union launched a campaign to patch rural roads.

The campaign to care for the poor continues to be promoted. In particular, responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind" is the consistent motto. In the past 5 years, My Tinh An has built and repaired 50 Great Unity houses, supported dozens of poor households in raising cows and developing the economy. The rate of poor households has decreased to 0.99%, and near-poor households to 0.83%.

Social security work, care for policy families, social protection beneficiaries, and children in difficult circumstances were carried out promptly and in accordance with regulations. The movement of "Repaying gratitude" also spread strongly, hundreds of millions of dong were donated to build gratitude houses, and care for policy families.

Along with socio-economic development, My Tinh An always focuses on maintaining security and order. Military recruitment and training of militia and self-defense forces reached 100% of the target. The models of Self-management Teams and Mediation Teams in hamlets operate effectively, promptly preventing conflicts and maintaining peace. People gradually raise their legal awareness through regular "Law Days", creating a foundation of discipline and safety in the locality.

Promote waste collection and environmental sanitation.

During the 2025 - 2030 term, My Tinh An commune sets the following goals: Developing ecological agriculture, circular economy, digital transformation, building an advanced new rural commune by 2030; striving for an average income of 115 - 120 million VND/person/year; no more poor households; 98% of people participating in health insurance.

Not only changing in infrastructure and economy, My Tinh An also retains the sentimental features of a peaceful countryside.
