Chairman of Sa Dec Ward People's Committee Nguyen Van Tam said that according to the Plan to organize the 2nd Flower - Ornamental Festival of the Provincial People's Committee, Sa Dec Ward was assigned to preside over the implementation of 13 contents. Up to now, the ward has completed the detailed plan and made a budget estimate to organize the assigned tasks.
The locality has also coordinated with the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Region 2 and related units to urge the acceleration of the progress of key projects and items in Sa Dec ward (Sa Dec bridge, N7 road, parallel road to Lang Hoa road), however the progress is still slow due to funding problems.

"The locality is proposing that the Provincial People's Committee supplement a portion of the public budget to carry out the items and projects to ensure completion before the event takes place," said comrade Nguyen Van Tam.
In addition to Sa Dec, Tan Duong commune is also actively preparing for the 2nd Flower and Ornamental Festival. Chairman of Tan Duong Commune People's Committee Nguyen Van Luan said that up to now, the work of promoting and connecting tourist attractions and households participating in the Bonsai Paper Flower and Ornamental Flower Exhibition Contest at the 2nd Flower and Ornamental Festival of the locality has basically been completed. Currently, the road connecting Tan Duong and Sa Dec has some degraded sections, the locality is coordinating with the Department of Construction to renovate it to serve the people and the event.
Together with local authorities, flower and ornamental plant businesses, cooperatives, and tourism service establishments such as restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions, etc. have also prepared essential conditions to ensure good service to tourists' needs.
Mr. Dang Quang Giau, Head of the Tan An Ornamental Flower Cooperative, said that the cooperative prepared 200,000 flower baskets to serve the Festival and the Tet market. In particular, the cooperative also made 5,000 flower baskets to decorate the gate and the 500-meter long flower street, participating in the Beautiful Flower Gate and Street Decoration Contest. Mr. Giau hopes that the beautiful flower street will attract a large number of tourists to visit and buy flowers at the cooperative.
Mr. Tran Van Hung, owner of the Frog Flower House homestay, said that in response to the 2nd Flower - Ornamental Festival, in addition to upgrading accommodation facilities and preparing experiential tours, the restaurant also specially improved service quality and prepared unique and special dishes from Dong Thap 's specialties.

According to Mr. Hung, the restaurant's goal is to improve service quality and food hygiene and safety, helping visitors experience the rich culinary culture of Sa Dec people; thereby, creating a strong impression, so that visitors not only visit Sa Dec once, but also want to come back many times after that.
This Flower - Ornamental Festival, in addition to the art programs, entertainment, display, introduction of agricultural products under the Sa Dec brand, flowers are the main subject that the local government, people and businesses are urgently preparing to serve the needs of tourists, especially flower miniatures arranged in public areas, main roads and square areas...
Special highlights include miniature scenes recreating local cultural spaces such as the old Sa Dec market, floating lanterns and the special art program "A love story in the night" held every night at the Huynh Thuy Le ancient house area, promising to create a unique impression to attract tourists.
Up to this point, the preparations for the Festival are basically on track, creating the premise for a safe, effective and attractive Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival season. All expectations are focused on a successful event; not only honoring the flower and ornamental growing profession but also strongly promoting local tourism and economy.
