Dong Thap Province Farmers' Association responds to Vietnam Law Day

(DTO) On the morning of November 7, the Farmers' Association of Dong Thap province held a conference to respond to the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2025, with the participation of leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association, along with officials, members, and grassroots farmers.

The conference aims to propagate and promote the active and voluntary study and understanding of the law; at the same time, educate the awareness of respecting and strictly complying with the Constitution and the law among cadres, members and farmers.

Through this activity, the Provincial Farmers' Association affirms the position, role and significance of Vietnam Law Day (November 9), contributing to spreading the spirit of respect for the law, building the image of Dong Thap farmers living and working according to the law, actively contributing to the construction of an orderly, disciplined, civilized and safe society.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Phuong, President of the Farmers' Association of Dong Thap province, requested the Farmers' Associations of communes and wards to review, consolidate and promote the effectiveness of the activities of Farmers' Clubs with the law; at the same time, make Vietnam Law Day become the annual core activity of the Association. The implementation must ensure synchronization, practicality and effectiveness, linked to the needs and interests of members, especially focusing on widespread implementation to each locality.

According to the plan, the Farmers' Association of Dong Thap province launched the movement "Each Association - a practical legal activity", ensuring that 100% of Farmers' Associations at the commune and ward levels organize at least one session to disseminate and popularize the law on Vietnam Law Day. The propaganda activities will focus on areas close to farmers' lives such as: Land, marriage and family, traffic safety, handling of administrative violations, implementing democracy at the grassroots level, and operating the two-level local government model.

In addition, the Farmers' Association will coordinate with specialized agencies at the same level to organize a peak month of propaganda and dissemination of the law, contributing to raising legal awareness among cadres, members and the community.
