Many FDI enterprises in Thanh Hoa province are working overtime again.

On the afternoon of February 29, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a conference between the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) and foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) in Thanh Hoa on the implementation of labor regimes, policies, laws, labor relations and trade union activities at enterprises.

As of February 20, 2024, 36 FDI enterprises in the province had 160,888 employees. According to the assessment of the Provincial Federation of Labor, most enterprises in the area are basically operating stably and ensuring jobs, wages, and benefits for employees. Union members and employees happily celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024 safely and economically, employees return to work, reaching a rate of 98.7%. 100% of enterprises have paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance to the social insurance agency on time and paid full monthly sickness and maternity benefits to employees. The total number of employees of enterprises paying social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance is 158,182 people, reaching a rate of 98.3%. The average income of employees in January and February 2024 is 6,590,000 VND/person/month.

Enterprises maintain good employment for employees, with 27/36 enterprises having overtime in some departments, specifically: 17/27 enterprises have overtime of 1-1.5 hours/day; 10/27 enterprises have overtime of 2.5-3.5 hours/day. In 2024, there are 24 enterprises with a need to recruit 18,676 workers.
