On July 15, functional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with An Nhon Tay Commune Police to conduct a crime scene investigation and estimate the damage after the fire at the kiosk row of Lo 6 market (Do Dang Tuyen intersection - Provincial Road 7, An Nhon Tay Commune) that occurred at 2:00 a.m. the same day.

At that time, people discovered the fire broke out at a row of closed kiosks with no one inside. All of these kiosks were locked from the outside, so people could not control them despite mobilizing dozens of fire extinguishers. The fire grew stronger and spread. Goods stored inside the kiosks began to catch fire.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police, received the information and mobilized local fire fighting teams to the scene to put out the fire and isolate it from spreading to other kiosks.
After a short time, the fire was brought under control. A representative of the People's Committee of An Nhon Tay commune said that the fire did not cause any human casualties, but many properties of small traders were burned, the value of which has not been estimated.
It is known that Lot 6 Market is a small trading area of local people, with many kiosks selling clothes, consumer goods, food, etc., so the fire developed strongly and spread widely.
